We spent several years designing and testing our first air suspension. We have built, what we consider, to be the finest air suspension/conversion/lift kit on the market. We call it a conversion, because it completely converts your factory suspension over to all air suspension with Firestone Air springs. This takes away all of the problems associated with the factory suspension. The factory spring suspension is designed to carry the advertised payload and towing capacity, however this creates a very undesirable ride when it is empty or even only partially loaded. Once your truck is heavily loaded, it begins to sag in the rear, which starts to “unload” the front suspension. This causes a reduction in front steering and braking. The air suspension allows you to add air to level the truck out and alleviate the previously mentioned problems, resulting in a much safer vehicle to drive.
